Other Entries – In NO particular order

Janet

This one really makes me laugh if I squint and pretend Janet’s eyes arn’t there – putting the frogs mouth as her mouth is so genius! Great entry!

Rhiannon

This is so pretty and symmetrical – It would make a lovely book cover. I also love how the princesses ponytail flips out of the heart frame, very stylish.

Henry the Frog

I once had an unnamed frog
I watched him all day on his log
He sat and he sat
He swam and he swam
But something is up with him

“Why!” I exclaimed to no one at all
“I just want a friend” he croaked
Shocked and afraid I took his advice

I then had two unnamed frogs
I watched them all day on their log
I loved them with all of my heart
But something seemed up with number one

The next few weeks passed like a dream
I could hear wedding bells them both
But the next day to my shock and dismay
I found number two belly up

“Why!” I exclaimed to no one at all
“I just want a friend” number one croaked
Still shocked and afraid I took his advice

I again had two unnamed frogs
I still watched them all day on their log
I still loved them with all of my heart
Yet something was still up with number one

The next couple week passed in a blur
Of frog food and a ribbiting purr
Just a day later number three was gone

“Why!” I still exclaimed to no one at all
“I just want a friend” number one croaked
Still shocked but unafraid I took his advice

I then had an unnamed frog and a beta
“Beta’s are tough” I said to myself
He will stay with us for sure.

A week later I ate my words
“A Beta, Realy?!” I said to my frog
“I only want a friend!” exclaimed number one
“No more friends for you” I replied

I then decided to name my frog
A name to fit his crime
I thought and I thought
Finally I named him Henry

“Henry” I exclaimed
Just like Henry VIII
He killed his wives
Just like you

I have a named frog
I watch him all day on his log
He sits and he sits
He swims and he swims
And nothing is up with him

Haha! Well I never expected Spouse murder to come in to the competition, but here we are and I liked it alot! Lets hope it wasn’t an honour killing.

Grace

myfallenangel345

I love the atmosphere in this poem – I feel like I could imagine what it would like to be a frog now – probably not a healthy attribute! AND THE PICTURE IS GORGEOUS! Such detail, must have taken you ages Grace, its beautiful!

Maddy

HAAHA this was hilarious – even if me and you Maddy are the only people to find it so.

I think I want to do a video of ME sitting on a tortoise to the same whistling.

In a weird way it reminds me of Creature Comforts?

Great entry!

Lottie

This was such a well thought through entry, I love the explanations as to why each item was used and I absolutely DIG the turban/headscarf! The pattern looked like frogs eyes. Lovely Lottie! Also, I want your name. I do not know why this writing is so small, I can’t change it!

Mikhaela

Oh Mikhaela. Defiantly one of the most original of the whole competition. You take being a frog so seriously, its great! Good luck with your croak.

“At the end of the day, you’ve just got to remember – Only the best of us can be frogs.”

I completely agree. HEY. Maybe I will start calling my viewers frogs? hmmmm.

Anyway, AMAZING ENTRY.

p.s. you should all go and check out her collab channel http://www.youtube.com/user/StringsandHoney  – I have loved it long time.

Charleey

AwkwardCharleey

http://ohwhatiwouldgive-justonemorechance.blogspot.com/

I love the mystique of this one – really original. Don’t you think it  would make an awesome t-shirt design?!

Her second entry was also REALLY pretty. Its cool because when you squint, the frogs KIND of look like lily flowers in the water. Great entries!

Kirsty

kirstydrums

these little creatures are endearing creations! You must have a very steady hand. Dare someone to get these as tattoos.

Really enjoyed this.

Blossobat

Okay, at first I was, as I’m sure you were, like ‘WHAT.’

But I have watched it several times now and I am sure I get its abstract intricacies. It has a kind of hypnotic quality. Don’t deny you were humming the tune hours after watching it.

Great :)

Esi

This one was SO cute! I literally did a ‘awwwwww’ out loud when I received this entry. Tell me you are going to do something adorable with it, like stick it to a pencil or onto a hairclip and use it in your hair :)

Sophie

I loved this! Don’t the lips just scream Moulin Rouge?

Penny

I love the ‘human frog’ element to this entry, so creative, and collage is ALL I did in my art a-level, so its safe to say I love this. Great thoughts behind it too, and the black henna detail is divine!

See close ups and an explanation at;

Rosy

LOVE LOVE LOVE . So pretty, and the layout is so stylish. I can see this on a canvas at Ikea. You should all also go check out Rosy’s stunning blog, I had a snoop the other day and fell in love.

SimplyLovely20

SimplyLovely20

Absolute GENIUS of an entry. I’m seriously considering making one myself. Perhaps in a crazy colour! Really inspiring.

I wish I could give everyone big fat juicy prizes for being so AMAZING and committing so much time to the frog kingdom!

It was seriously so FUN and so HARD at the same time to judge this, the interregnum between the contest closing and this post has basicall me in a room going ‘uuuuuMMMMMMMmmmm…..’

All your entries have been a joy to read/hear/watch/stare in wonder at. THIS WILL DEFINITELY happen again. Ideas for future competitions are very welcome!

THANKYOU again,

Kathy

Pink Nouveau by Mac Lipstick

So, my friend Hattie ( http://insidethemindofadiscoball.blogspot.com/) had a little fall out with this lipstick, they wern’t the best of friends. So thankyou Hattie for letting me take her off your hands! Not my usual tone of pink, but I think we will be great partners!

I haven’t edited these pictures at all and they were taken in natural light, so the colour should be as true to life as possible.

Of course, the signature Orange nails, as I do live in a bright orange house! :) Barry M.

So I broke. Just once, but once is enough.

It is human nature to disobey yourself. And me, being me, forgot for a second that although I am many things, I am not SUPERHUMAN.

I bought a dress from Dorothy Perkins.

It was stupid, it was irrational, it was against my moral code.

But boy is it pretty.

http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33053&storeId=12552&productId=2259608&langId=-1&categoryId=&searchTerm=spot%20dress&pageSize=20

I know this has a jokey tone, but I was genuinely disapointed in my self for several days before I would even let myself enjoy this dress. My only comfort is that it is from their label ‘Doll & Frog’ who are a group of recent fashion graduates just starting out. So I guess I’m supporting them at least. They do deserve it, it IS beautiful.

Reasons why I hate to honour Dorothy Perkins as a brand in particular at the moment… click here.

ANYWAY, on a less grim note, the rest of my wearing;

Jacket – H&M 2006

Boots – Spot On

Scarf – H&M (gift)

Earings – Aberystwyth Arts Centre

This is the beach RIGHT by my house. As in, if I lean out of my window and look left, it is the first thing I see.

I had the pleasure of having my gentleman-caller come to visit and act as my camera man, so I thought I’d treat you all to a little outdoor OOTD.

Hope you are all smiling this Saturday :D

50′s Housewife

Hello World!

So yeah, I’ve been gone LONG time, are you gunna make something of it?;)

ok good.

So I’ve become a little obsessed with this website called YouTube lately, I don’t know if you’ve heard of it?

Anyway, I’m gunna try my darndest to combine the two worlds on here, so

with me.

Here’s the latest one;

and for those of you redirected here to see info on it;

The top is an very old H&M one. I do really miss their basics range. pffft. good deeds bite hard.

The skirt was a carity sop find, New Look originally.

The belt, junk-shopped.

The earings!!!! I bought yesterday from my friend Becki from Flourish Buttons, who had an enchanting stall on the seafront in Aberystwyth this weekend. Go and spy her stuff here; http://www.flourishbuttons.com/

The lipstick  - Red Carpet Moisture Drench by No7.wow. I am in total love.

I was just having a blissful day in with my portable boyfriend, who is here to visit for the week. I came over all housewifey, dressed like this, cleaned the bathroom, kitchen and peeled potatoes while listening to the Singin In The Rain soundtrack! ….while he watched the football.

note to self: refind the feminist within me before its too late.

Also, in light of my absence I will be posting a back catalogue of outfits over the next few weeks, so don’t be confused if my hair seems to fluxuate in colour length and shiny-ness over the next few posts. You will get to see in to a world post-chop, post-dye and post-soapandglory shampoo discovery!

A scary time indeed. Till next time! Kathy x

Harbouring Embarrassment

So, in the interests of recycling, and not at all because we nurse an unhealthy obsession for the blogging world and it’s soldiers, we bought some second hand dresses from Mademoiselle Robot. Mine was this gorgeous cotton madame that makes me feel as if I am one of the Von-Traps.

I find this post bitter sweet in its execution, because while I am fairly happy with the way it turned out, and really like my wardrobe… well, the thing is, I live right beside a harbour! And I know this shoot would have been so freaking EXCELLENT out there.

But as long as I am a blog fraidy cat, I really cannot bring myself to take pictures in public. I did it in the wilderness that time (insert a thats what she said joke here), but really even then I was on edge like the mystery machine could drive up at any second and expose me as a narcissist. I’m just to embarrassed.

Hattie likes to take them for me sometime and I love her for it, but we are busy women living at opposing ends of the seashore, so if anyone lives in Aber, actually reads this crummy crap and doesn’t see this blog as a complete extension of my own vanity and self involvement(a point which I am not completely devoid of agreement with myself), then you know, let me know if you want to have some fun taking pictures!

Simpliday

Today was a simple day. All I really think about wearing was my big baggy new £1 2nd hand t-shirt.

But wait.

I have work.

Out pops one of my probably most underestimated wardrobe weapons, my dry-clean-only Oasis wonder.

So very Channel-esque, perfect for drawing attention away from (or failing that juxtapositioning) un-brushed hair, messy eyebrows and a massive cake hangover. Yes, they are real.

Oh, also, BumpIts.

Pure love their way today.

oh and I should probably also show you this too;

goodnight x *ignores profusely the fact that its is 3 hours into morning*

Love’s Young Dream … In a Bag!

I’ve been a woman in training long enough now to have had a sizeable history with handbags.

Each that has gone after the one before  is closely critiqued for its improved style, excess room or superior hanging facets – it’s ability to collapse, clasp, zip, snip,shoulder-sling  and cradle a book collection far too vast for transport in normal circumstances (circumstances and logic are two things I have really never been a slave to…). I thought the only improvement my last bag could have afforded me was a built in coffee machine and automatic zip release. She was not be to be bettered.

Until last week.

I was browsing the Aberystwyth boutiques in innocence – if it had been a clubbing scene, I would have been the fresher just absorbing the potential partners around me, not particularly looking for anyone special, certainly not looking for a lay or least of all an orgy (in this strange, winding and ultimately disturbing unplanned annalygy, you can call an ‘orgy’ an extremely over productive shopping trip).

And suddenly the whole world, despite any reluctance felt on my part previous to that moment, turned very hollywood. Our eyes met, we ran through fields of gold straw and the edges on the screens of life began to get awfully blurry.

We fell in love.

Her price was an extortion by my wallets standards, but my heart insisted that absence would most definitely NOT make it stronger and in the end my anatomy was unanimous as I handed over my debit card.

I do work two jobs after all.

Ok, now I have got all the constipated literary rot out of my head, could I interest you in some facts?

It was from Polly’s in Aber, the most beautiful of boutiques ever to grace the British Isles. It is made by a company called Disaster Designs who’s whole collection, you must trust, is breathtaking.

It’s huge enough inside for all my crap, my laptop and the welsh student’s essential - a waterproof. Its also celtic-weatherproof, which will be excellent for all my unproventable wanderings to campus in the rain. Its also slouchy enough to be practical when it’s almost empty and had TWO strap options for ultra fussy people like me.

and the detailing. The detailing!

Thats enough from me. I’m going to go and do something much more intellectually appropriate for my IQ than sit around and write meaningless blogs about cleverly affixed cloth.

Or I might just sleep.

Another Heroic Rescue

So I’m due somewhere extra important soon, but I feel like there’s always a moment to salute a new necklace into the pack.

She was rescued from Dorothy Perkins this week, having been majorly slated by her former possessors – the price for her heart was a measly £3, after glories days of being displayed at £15.

Anyway, she’s much happier in  her new home – so happy even, she told me yesterday, there are days where she forgets how irresponsibly traded her beads are and how her life probably started in a Taiwanese Sweat Shop (her subconscious blots out memories before the shop floor – too painful).

She says she’s glad I managed to compromise my shopping morals long enough for me to rescue her from the jewellery section.

Oh by the way, the pictures of my outside the Old College (our original University building in Aber) were taken while on a wee photoshoot with my uber talented friend Ruth, who’s jewellery I model both below and on her Etsy shop

Take a look!

Which reminds me, I must get on with that important engagement – Film night at Ruth’s!

Dear Maths,

Maths. Maths, maths, maths.

We haven’t been friends for a while,

have we?

Things were never smooth, but after the break up at GCSE when I neglected to take you as an A-level, we really have drifted. Infact, aside from the odd nod when the till trips at work and I have to do all the counting in my noggin,  its almost like were strangers now.

Until I found a new use for you – clothes! When I robbed this beautiful piece of woollen geometry from my new house mate, its like we made sense again.

I meen, this is one of my favourite dresses, she’s adorable, but somehow you gave her a glow I haven’t seen in years…

And when I found this old belt for 50p, it was like you little long lost spawn and I just had to reunite you in a rallying moment of slow violin concertos and hollywood.

Too far yet?

So now you’ve heard the tale of how, even if it was just for a day, me and maths finally found a way to mutually benefit each other again. Until next time…. which I promise won’t have like the 2 month interlude this one did.

Timeless Vixen Vintage

Oh my uncle david, I have just found a GORGEOUS new unattainable place for out-of-reach Dress Porn – I would love for you to join me in despairing rapture at coveting but never owning, due to the pricing.

I think these three are my most favourite, but I DID have a shortlist of about 10 I would happily marry, birth and die in.

Here’s the link where you can see them from all angles, see the prices, cry and laugh.

They are So beautiful.

Mercy Etsy, mercy! why do you hurt me so?

Post below any of your favourites and why?

Adventures With The Elephant

So, I hesitated at this top for two reasons;

1) I’m really not so sold on this new lets-wear-see-through-lace-tops-and-feign-oblivion-that-everyone-can-see-my-push-up-bra-with-extra-diamanté trend.

2) Its from primark. Barf at the human injustice.

however, my counter points include;

1) I kind of see sometimes glimpses of the sentiment behind the trend and am inspired to try and make it look little less tramp stamp. I’m not sure if it was successful or not but while my residence is still in Coventry I don’t see that I would have stuck out much either way ;)

the idea was to

a) make the look high waisted so that really the only part you wouldn’t normally see was a small strip of skin beneath the bra, and

b) use a plain sports bra underneath to minimise cleavage and  eliminate  ’come-hither’ subtext.

hmmmm

my other counter-point is that I did not directly purchase this item from Primark, which means that it’s original owner did not only purchase this top from the devils lair – they then failed to appreciate and value the top by dis-guarding it.

So really, I’m righting two wrongs. Maybe.

Also, I know this is a somewhat ridiculous pose, but it has cause, I promise. Now in reality wore this with my skuffy Nike’s, which I did enjoy, but felt like something a little more glamorous could have been aspired for were I to wear this anywhere vaighly important.   So this is me imagining myself wearing super fabulous wooden wedges that chime in with the elephant necklace and that I can walk in perfectly, of course.

Beige.

Boiling day, saggy under-eyes, chores to do – Beige was the colour of the day.

Of course, not going for, but hitting anyway, the gypsy vibe. I swear I belong in a caravan.

Top: New Look. Shirt: No idea. Bracelets: a pressie from Natalie the great. I love them. Don’t you just love when friends buy what you would have bought yourself?

if my gypsy powers are as prominant as my gypsy clothing tenancies, I predict an erradicating of the bags via Bio Oil and more sleep, an eventual hair cut when I eventually get my pay cheque and a recurrenceof these wonderful bracelets in posts to come.

Oh and sorry for publicising your personal details, whoever’s phone number this is on my hand.

The She Wolf

We were so lucky to win free tickets to The Clothes Show Live. This is one of the jumpers/tops I bought there with my really quit borderline hypothetical money. I was so poor. It was an unfortunate time to be so lucky…

The top was just so gorgeous and understated I just had to hope my ship would come in eventually and forward myself alittle green stuff. It was from the brand ‘CCKT’ and was designed by a new fashion graduate, so its always nice to support an emerging artistic cause. And gain something beautiful in the process.  To me it achieves all my aspirations of being classy and understated, without actually completely BEING classy and understated. Its still  a little slouchy and  a little reminicent of native america – so it still slips under the ‘me’ barrier.

The necklace was also a great find the day before in Accesorise, while wandering Covent Garden.

It was such a statement, so rewearable and SO like the tattoo I have toyed with getting for so long, that I only had to fasten the chain and it was like she and I had never seen a sunrise without the other.

Ok, well, it can’t be a she – the tusks – but my tattoo would definitely be tusk-less and womanly. And a feminist at that.

The Clothes Show Live

So, if you hadn’t heard, it was a few weeks ago now that me and Hattie (http://insidethemindofadiscoball.blogspot.com/) won tickets to The Clothes Show live via the very famous WhatKatieWore Blog!

http://www.whatkatiewore.com/2010/06/20/taken-on-results-day/

http://whatyouwore.whatkatiewore.com/2010/06/11/suzuki-challenge-kathy/

As you can imagine there was much screeching phone exchanges between myself and Miss Peacock as soon as the results were posted, and plans were put in locomotion immediately as to how we were to achieve the very expensive feat of arriving and surviving in london for 2 days on the small budgets all students at the end of an academic year can expect to be on – roll on Student Finance pay day!

The journey down on the Megabus was spent in much anticipation, and with my mp3 player Missing In Action, it was my make up bag that was turned to in a time of creative  boredom emergency;

We arrived the day before, Thursday, and conviened  in Covent Garden for smoothies and warm up shopping browsing, a disproportionate amount of this time being spent in Lush (which in Covent Garden, by the way, is amazing – they have like loads of floors with a quaint curved ceiling basement and loads of stuff to try). I also bought the elephant necklace of my dreams which will be pictured in a minute, and an amazing little something for Rah (of earlier Community Clothing posts) which will be pictured on the blog at a later date in case she sees it prematurely.

Anyway, we stayed with one of my lovely friends of old and his house of medical student friends mid-study, so a happy evening was passed in Tooting (giggle) swapping storied with them then curled up on the sofa with Hattie watching Skins and discussing the ironic tragedies of Kerry Katona’s life, as prompted typically by a channel 4 documentary on her. (Did anyone else see this?)

Anyway, before we get on to the clothes, can we please take a moment to reflect on these two charming nuns on an underground escalator;

You can tell I was in clothes mode by now because I was admiring the unusual flattering colour of their habits, and the surprising subtle flattering tailoring when you got up close  - maybe being a nun wouldn’t be so de-liberating after all.

Here’s me by the WhatKatieWore/Suzukoi stand.

Sadly the light is VERY yellow, being in the exhibition was a little like being in a uterus or somthing, so the colours arn’t quit clear – I think I took some of the outfit at home, if I find them I’ll include them at the end of this post. The jacket has become on of my favorites of late. I dug it out and rescued it from our dressing up box, my brother wore it once while playing Buttons in a pantomime of some description  - hence the gloriously generous spreading of buttons by my mother all down the front.

oh and this is the elephant I love so fondly;

Another feature of this outfit I enjoyed thinking up was the rainbow shoelace in my hair that, until now, it’s partner-less state rendered it useless to me in terms of footwear.

I bought a few things I’m still trying to justify into my budget, but tried to keep spending minimal. You will see what I bought in later posts no doubt, I don’t want to make this post much longer than it already is – although it probably will be anyway.

There were some lovely pieces there I really adored, especially in the Vintage sections. There is something about a peice of clothing that someone else has had adventures in that still enchants me, and something about clothes that have made it through the forest of possible casulaties for clothes – they haven’t been wrecked by spillage, worn with age, mislayed on a bus, been sicked on by a baby, been ripped in an miscalculated dance move – some how they have made it though, owner to owner, to finally be entrusted to and enjoyed by you.

There of course was also the more disheartening side to big fashion events like this. The ‘trendies’. What made my heart sink a little was the frequency at which I was seeing the same combinations, the same patterns, the same cuts – all quite beautiful ( I love most of this summers trends, and have a smug and almost accurate belife that I loved them way before they were in fashion – florals, beige accessories, tribal prints, etc …) but so incessant in the crowds that it really took my enthusiasm for them down some notches.

Now, Hattie has a very expressive hatred of ‘Gladiator Sandals’. I see her point completely but am hesitant to commit to the same statement a) because I secretly don’t mind them in moderation and 2) have a secret fear that my bosom buddy Clark’s sandals you see in almost every post could be classified under the same category – oh the dread!

But its true, standing in the que for the main arena catwalk show, looking around me at mouse height, the sight was truly a SHAMBLES.

I mean, look! We couldn’t move for feeling we were in a Ridley Scott film. If only Russell Crowe had been there… sigh…

But yeah, that sort of thing really wants to make me stack my shopping bags, mount them like a poduim and scream ‘PULL YOURSELVES TOGETHER WOMEN!!!’

Ever more appropriate was Hattie’s reading material brought for when her legs simply couldn’t support her shopping anymore;

ho ho ho, very apt. Oh Hattie, how I love you, let me count the ways….

So my lesson learnt for that day was-

clothes are beautiful.

they are not everything.

but they are beautiful.

There were in truth, some tacky stalls there. But there were also really inspiring ones with ladies who make their own produce, and can tell you all about the art they are creating for the pure love of it.

Over and Out Scout.

p.s.

Sushi for breakfast!

Some perhaps clearer (if not, less yellow) pictures of my outfit;

A Day On The Canal

yeah, so I’ve been on a bit of a sebatical.

so what.

I would love to tell you I’ve been finding my inner self, but really I’ve been eyeballs up in lovely friend reunitings, unpacking (pictured, accidentally, above), little niggly things with no collective names and a crazy new job. Perhaps more about that in another post.

This was the day I went on a canal boat. I was … a pleasurable yet tantalising glimpse into how life should be. More investigation into the benefits of canal life will be explored once I have atleast 200,000 pounds spare to buy one.

Don’t hold your breath.

So yes, it was a splendid day, and I got to enjoy one of my favourite, if not the, piece of clobber I picked up from America last summer. This one I got in at thrift shop in Santa Cruz. Colour and comfort make great bedfellows.

oo and thats a shoe lace in my hair.

rad.

In Which Kathy Goes Rummaging In Her Dressing Up Box.

I know what your thinking.

Harem Pants.

But really, once, my mind was as sceptical as yours.

Do me a favour. Try some on. Your thighs will thankyou.

Quite apart from them sinching you beautifully at the waist, all that summer cellulite just has some private time to just flap around for a day and be its self.

Comfortable doesn’t cut it. And I love these because they’re red and statementy, and everyone knows that I’m truely not ashamed to be wearing something so taboo – even if they do have a circus air to them.

So what if the are the crocs of the clothing world?

S club 7 spent way too much of their time and energy teaching me to ‘wave my hands like I just don’t care’ for me to stop now. I love them.

And I’m sure I must rock them way better than my seven year old self professing as Aladin.

Plus,  with a party trick like this , who can really argue their worth?

( THANKYOU Bev for photography, also note the Noah and The Whale concert t-shirt – give them a listen or die very unhappy )

Pop It, Lock It, Polka Dot it!

So my last week in Aber in the new house was an awesome one, although alittle chaotic clothes wise most of them were all packed up in boxes and motivation to relive the painful packing experience was low. Lucky I found these beautiful pieces in Cancer Research, especially with the Susuki Challange coming up.

The top is H&M and the spotty dress is Next, and I love them both dearly.

The Outfit additions went well too, adding my favourite blue charity shop skirt (born in NewLook) made me feel and warm, fuzzy and eclectic, while I can’t deny my relife in finally being able to recycle this teeth necklace I wore once out with the girls on Cavegirl night!

As you can see, the shoes didn’t last long, i just had to get my toes out. The aim is that by 2020 I will have hardened the skin on my soles so much that horrible shoes won’t need to be a part of my daily life any more. That. Is the dream.

Oh yeah, and the Suzuki Challange is a competetion I’ve qualified for on a famous blog WhatKatieWore. Please head over and vote if you think I deserve it, its the last day to vote.

Dirty, Horrible, Disguising Beautiful Coveted Things

I hate to Covet.

I really do.

I think it’s immoral, wrong, selfish, dirty…..

But with these things in existence WHO CAN REALLY HELP IT.

The Big Back Logg

wow, that title really just sounds like something you should consult your GP about – but I like it, and its true, I have so many outfits to share I’ve got serious clothes constipation, sorry guys!!!

(btw check the OPI nail varnish I nicked from Hat – oooo shiney)

Everythings been mad what with moving house and exams (and then proceeding week of celebrating the end of said exams)… and whatnot. Anyway I’m going to attempt to share with you here the stuff you’ve missed (or I’ve missed telling you) and then maybe we can all go on our merry old way and be bestest friends again, yes? yes. good. :)

So after an unexpected spout of modesty, a dollop of shyness, denial of ageing and a shocking lack of need for attention (my I have changed since my theatre days!) I decided to tottle my way home for my birthday.

Which can only really mean lots of love, cake, spoiling,  free food, summer bbqs and copious amounts of rainbow jelly curtsy of my brother, mini norms.

And then theres of course some of my old wrinkling nearest and dearest and, oh yeah, the boyfriend. The days were filled with lye-ins, pub lunches, open-mike nights and sealife centre trips ….

Anyway, the outfits damn it, the outfits! Here’s my ‘Birthday Suit’

hahah. I really wish I could help it. truely, I do.

This dress is my very first official online fairtrade buy, and I love it! Its from Ascension (ascensiononline.com) and I REALLY recommend them, the clothes are lovely, it came super fast and my card didnt go through the first time (my bad!) and they rang me and were so personal and chatty and nice. Seriously.

Next up is some fun fancy dress going on of the late; 80s night….

Goth Night…

Just a note; going to a rave night as a goth can really feel very liberating (if you don’t mind being spat on by the rugby team!;) )

Golf Night…

Here’s one just from some revision day at the library in my cosy new old man cardi  – God bless you Salvation Charity Shop for surrendering this item for a mere pound!

And the scarf is Asda, would you believe it.

Ah, and the infamous meal up Constitution Hill with my Methsoc pals, really, riding in a fanicular is the ultimate in style. Here’s me waiting at the end by the station bit;

You may recognise the dress as the runner up to my eventual May Ball dress. Tidy.

Well, thats all for now folks! *chews on carrot in a Bugs kinda way*

Castle On a Cloud

So currently due to some limited internet access time and extensive library interaction, there have been little posts. I’m sorry. However, the picture taking has continued, resulting in serious OUTFIT BACK LOG.

I would try to remedy this by making a monster post, but I’m just not feeling that generous. Plus where would be the FUN in that??!

So here’s some beyond wonderful pictures taken by Hattie (check her blog, its on the ‘about this blog’ page at the top) except this one above with the flowers, that was me. We braved the ABERYSTWYTH HEATWAVE (never did I think I’d use that phrase without heavy sarcasm!) and went for a wonder in the ruined castle, possibly my favorite place in the whole town.

Pretty isn’t it??!! Just don’t all come move here, I like the quiet.

The ‘special interest’ feature to this outfit is that all I’m wearing is TOPS.

the top is a top.

the skirt is a top.

the scarf is a top.

long live the revival of pieces of cloth. Which is all they are, if you really think. I’m trying this theory and seeing how many more outfits I gain! watch this space.x

The Life Processes and Nice Dresses

Just a quick one today, I’m pooped. Gold and Pink, glorious colours.

Cardigan River – Island via Charity Shop, Top – (worn over dress) Next via Charity Shop, Dress – Forever 21 in San Francisco last summer :)

No, I went nowhere, I saw (barely) anyone, I’ve been trying to get my art portfolio done for tomorrow. I know. I’m sad. But this is how I still know I dress for me, and me alone.

This outfit also matches my new glasses. Little pleases me more. Today anyway. But today’s ventures really haven’t been that hard to top. I did like most of the 7 life processes, respiration, growth, nutrition, excretion, movement (just), sensitivity (when I burnt myself cooking rice)… I guess the only one left to complete is reproduction…

… looking at the time, that is probably a job for tomorrow.

Simple Clothes and Abusive Relationships

Ok, so today was of medium-to-little consequence,  my art term portfolio is due Monday so I’ve basically been cutting and sticking  and staring into sweet space all day. In anticipation of such a simple day, simple dressing could only follow.  This dress I bought in a boutique in Aberystwyth near the beginning of the year, but if I’m honest it hasn’t had many outings due to its kind of unflattering waist line. Originally the matching ribbon that is now in my hair was in belt loops around the waist, but as you can see, it spends little time there.

I’ve never done matching hair ribbon and dress before (if you look closely the neckline is the same delicate pinstripe) – I enjoyed it, I think I might venture to it again.  This scarf thingy is from H&M, but like the ribbon, it is rarely used for it’s origional purpose. I enjoy it round my waist just as much as around my neck.

That’s the outfit post. On a side note;

YOU KNOW YOUR IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP WHEN ____________

I’m sure this sentence could be finished any number of ways, but truly, I have recently found my own personal truth to end with.

…WHEN your boyfriend leaves a whole great slab of oozing galaxy sexualness bar in your room for a fortnight, knowing fore well that you are dairy intolerant.

There are some sick buttmunchers out there ladies, be careful.

So, I’m in my room allllllll day.

I look at it.

I stroke it.

I take it out of the wrapper… juuuuuust to smell it.

I take macro pictures of it. Because it is beautiful.

I eat it.

all.

In my defence, NOT ONLY am I only human. I am only woman.

and I’m paying for it in snot and tears today.

dont judge me I hate you all the world is a mean place you cant trust

have a nice evening everyone! xxx

And How Many Pennies for my Philippino Friend?

I feel like wearing a bin bag forever.

http://www.nosweat.org.uk/node/571

I’d just like to say…

How did the world get like this.

Yes Topshop, I like your clothes. They are very nice.

bravo.

That wasn’t what I asked though was it?
I want to know that your not going to be a dick with my money.

I want to know that fashion is as fun for me as it is for them.
Yes, them.
You know.

Yes, I like clothes. Not for anyone else. I like fabric. I use fabric in my art. I like to wear art. I like to live in it.
Yet companies like the CCC (Clean Clothes Campaign http://www.cleanclothes.org/) don’t recommend a boycott. I guess because it leads to Jobs being lost here, and eventually a collapse of the company and NO income for the workers eventually. And I can’t afford the little range of  non-middle-aged clothes available to me online. Which would lead me to just carry on buying and write the odd letter to David Cameron every now and then?
Besides the thought of correspondence with David, there are other unappealing hesitations that just make me want to go

There must be SOMETHING I can do.

http://soundandfashion.blogspot.com/2010/05/working-for-cleaner-clothes.html

http://www.cleanclothes.org/urgent-actions/filipino-triumph-workers-violently-evicted-from-picket#action

all the CCC seem to be doing though is asking us to write letters. The deep buried confrontational mammal inside me just wants to stride in to the corporate management office of H&M and have a fit throwing mini potted palm trees and latte makers at their heads for having so much power and being so stupid with it.

But did we give them that power?

And surely if I stop feeding (not excessively, but enough) into the fashion industry, great artists in fabric will never get commissioned to work, and thats sad. Just imagine, Alexander McQueen takes a job in accounting instead because he can’t support himself long enough to develop that long awaited and long mourned talent all crushed and rolled and flat-packed inside him.

sigh.

any solutions, or shared grievances are welcome in the comments box!:)

Office Gypsy

Loook! at my new grandad jacket. Even better, because of my blocked nose, I can’t smell the charity shop old man smell apparently exuding from it according to Hattie! Feeling very Bohemian via Gypsy via Aging lecturer today. All these pictures must give the impression I spend alot of time studying in the library.

Half true.

I spend alot of time in the library, but mainly cus I like the smell.

hope my nose becomes fully functioning again soon!

The said jacket is Charity Shop yesterday, shoes -Clarkes (bored of these yet? I’m not!) Belt – the belt….. the belt found me.

The skirt/dress/wrap around thing is from The Peace Festival held every year in Lemmington Spa. Really looking forward to it this summer. See you there?

Steampunk Monday

So, I wouldn’t say I know an awful lot about the Streampunk movement – my friend Ruth really likes it and she is where I first heard the term, but I didn’t think much more of it until I stumbled upon some very cool steampunk themed weddings on OffBeatBride.com!

http://offbeatbride.com/2010/04/steampunk-wedding-dress

http://offbeatbride.com/2010/01/new-jersey-steampunk-wedding

It totally inspired me to have a go and putting some of my own lonely old clothes together to see if I could create a similar effect. So here are my efforts!

I would try and give you an explination here of what steampunk is, but it could go inaccurately and embarrassingly wrong seeing as I really am only inspired by it, I do not know that much. If you are curious you are probably much better wiki-ing it yourself :)

I tried to capture the stripes and tweed kind of Victoriana feel, and I now kind of feel like that character out of Wind In The Willows… you know the one…

No all I need are some goggles I suppose..

I feel like my glasses are such that they could potentially do?

Anyway, over and ………..

oh yeah small matter of little importance…

I WAS FEATURED ON WHATKATIEWORE YESTERDAY.

It the blog from the ‘about this blog’ section and its pretty famous. There was alot of squeels of glee echoing around my halls of residence last night. Sorry fellow ytoung scollars, somethings are truely too exiting to be non verbal.

Ball Dresses and Balls Ups

FRIDAY WAS THE BALL.

But obviously amongst all the tights and armpit shaving, the fake eyelash application and the painstaking nail colour co-ordination, came a similarly world changing event – The Election Announcement.

Since this blog parades Cardigans over Camerons, Blouses over Browns and Polonecks over Politicians, I won’t say much. All I will say is that the normally appealing blues and saphire items just didn’t look so appealing in the harsh light of friday the seventh.  Big FACEPALM Britain, lets get it together.

So here’s my mourning outfit. Yes, moUrning. For our generation. For facepalm elections and us all being alittle headless chickenly box ticking.

H&M dress paired with big black tshirt (not a brand – yet) and charity shopped shoes, I think origionally from New Look.

Now, on to the real things in life… The Aberystwyth May Ball.

Thankyou for all your votes :) In the end I went with this one, I just felt more comfortable in it in the end (plus the boyfriend vote was a minor factor) If you think its unfair, we can go into consultation about a electorial reform.

ok, ok, no polotics, starting……..now.

Yes, its my hippy skirt doing a shapeshifter from a few posts back :) I love the lace detailing and tie dye together, its kind of Victoriana Hippy. Worn with my trusty scout belt and Jaeger Blazer.

Oh and who’s this little guy?

Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce you: World, my favourite handbag in all of the galaxy; Handbag, World.

Its so fussy its divine.

So yes, overall Ball experience gets lots of thumbs and fingers and toes up. Boxes ticked:

Epic Feeder set, a famous but obliviously embarrassing DJ to mock (thanks for volunteering Westwood!), Oxygen bar, fair ground, crazy drunk welsh people, mud, burgers, bungee jumps….

Oh yeah and I MAY have met Bradley from Sclub 7, been a little bit liberal in my breeching of personal space, and told him a few times that he ‘changed my childhood’, which was greeted with an awkward smile and an expected restraining order from his lawyer in the post any day now.

joy.

Have I Got News For You – Dress Crown Friday

If you watch my youtube you probably know I have a mammoth essay in so being on here should probably be illegal for me (although what with hung parliament they probably won’t be able to make a decision fast enough to pass the motion – nether the less I’ll be quick in case they do) and also

ITS THE MAY BALL TODAY.

you’ll have to watch this space to see which dress I eventually pick. Turns out I will also have a man on my arm now too, which as we all know is the ultimate accessory ;)

I got the full Welsh experience of voting yesterday which apparently differs from English ones – there were small minibuses going back and forth to the next village crammed with pollcard-clutching students to take us to the next village to vote. It was quite the field trip!

Obviously it did not look like this, but I feel as a young voter it would have been a great ploy to keep me in my voting habbits.

Oh right what were we meant to be talking about? oH, the dress, right, the dress….

Well todays honour can only go to way down the shoulders of the very talented Gary Harvey. Obviously the prestigiousness of this award will probably give some battering to his spine or atleast some mild backache, but don’t worry Gaz, its so worth it.

This one is the official winner although I will put some other corkers from the collection at the bottom, pinky swear. How completely awesome is this? It remind me abit of a newspaper dress I saw Amy Winehouse in years ago. I can’t find it on the internet, It must be in my magazine library under my bed at home…

(never has the definition of library been translated so loosely)

He is my hero not only because he made this dress from 30 pages of the financial times, but because he makes his very prestigious clothes predominantly from second hand clothing and other materials. He is like the ‘fashion-with-a-concience’ god. His collection “was a comment about thinking about the real cost of the garment that you buy, about that cost being natural resources, exploitation of labour, the biodegradable nature of garments.”

I think I’m in love.

Hawian shirts, drinks cartons, old man coats, will.he.stop.at.nothing.

This post is getting to be longer than my essay – probably the point at which I should stop.

Enlisting YOU.

OK, I am enlisting you guys to help with my obese conundrum! only 48 hours to the May  Ball and I still don’t know which dress I’m wearing. I have been deliberating for weeks to no avail and the time has come to seek wisdom outside of my sphere.

I’m such a girl.

I seriously can’t choose. Hattie took these round her house when I tried them on for her two weeks ago, when i burdened the very same angst. Please help!

If you are reading this vote below and I will read them at the end of the day and take your word for it – I am that desperate.

On the one hand the first is fairtrade, but I’m afraid alittle too wrap around beachy, and the second is from New Look, as I have mentioned before, so there is potential for a double take some-one-wearing-the-same-dress disaster. Which I dont know how much I care, but yeah, it factors.

Obviously I’ve styled them both slightly diffrently in the two pictures too, so let me know which you prefer. I’m obviously an indipendant woman and all, but they are all so me its got to the point where it doesn’t really matter. All that matters is I know

which one.

If you could help me out I would be forever indebted to you all.

After all, I’m meeting:

this could be the most important occasion of my life.

and its tomorrow.

Australian Ranch

Just a quickie before I knuckle down to essays, sigh. Outfit from a few days back at Hattie’s house. Jaeger shirt, New Look Dress, ASOS socks :)

Very fun, I felt like a Cowboys’s daughter and rather like I should be living somewhere like this;

Come to think of it, reminds me of Australia, the film, which I watched on my weekend at home – mixed feelings about the film, but GOGGLING worship for some of the costumes on Nicole’s person. Maybe will do a series of Australia outfits, what do you think?

Home For The Weekend

Books taught me that however clammy, smoggy or urban your place of origin is, it always holds strange healing powers for the hero in distress. This week, I was definitely a heroine in distress, and as it happens the fabled cure turned out to re-heronise me too:)  Train rides and boyfriends admittedly were my main medicine of the weekend.  My friend Hattie lent me this book to read on the train, and I can’t express the healing powers it had over my ride;

Look into it, a great mix of illustration and pointless yet poinient jumble. I love.

Anyway, my good old adopted Nan (also known as ‘Nana Peachy’ – prestigious!) and my mum were going for a walk in Coombe Abbey (by far the best park in Warwickshire) so me and Nathan also bandwaggoned. It was one of those lovely bright but HEAVY days, where the rain is lurking but never seems to drop. Sometimes I find it pressuring, but that day I really just found it kind of comforting – the sky felt closer some how, dominant, as If it was some kinds of big duvet ready to jump down and hug us all at any moment.

On Nathan and I’s travels we discovered a suspicious sight  - a man standing stock still on a tree trunk, saying nothing, breathing nothing, just standing there like the tin man discovered in the forest in Oz. At first I thought it was some kind of official survey or something, but as we got closer it seemed he moved – He glanced at his watch and apparently satisfied with the time he has managed to sustain a one-leg existence, rode off on his bike, expressionless into the next field. It was a shake your head ‘whhaaat?’ moment. Anyway, we then had the trunks to ourselves – magical trunks – just LOOK at them! ;

As for the body coverings, It was majorly from the shadow if wardrobe I haven’t managed to fit in my halls room – Vintage denim hoodie, Mojo denim jacket, New Look dress and jeans, and my new but already beloved Clark’s sandals. Tripple denim. I know, daring. But I didn’t care that day, there were so many other things to care about :)

Cracking yellow flower field too. Perfect for return blogging!

Anyway, I am now back in Aberystwyth and ready to tackle all things Blog -i mean, degree…

Venus – Dress Crown Friday

This weeks Dress Crown Friday features Christian Dior’s ‘Venus’ dress. Its from the 50′s (which we all know pretty much gives it the instant thumbs up). Dior designed it after WWII, wanting to restore finery and fantasy into the industry, presumably after the cut backs of almost everything. He certainly did that, this dress has everything in tow – sequins, pearls, rhinestones…

Despite its obvious overlavishness, I love the references to Greek goddesses.. maybe something to incorpirate into later posts?

Anyway, its gorgeous, and I will go into my day thinking too of the idyllic, and try and be the best version of Venus by my own definition …

The Secret Garden

Once again, in complete subconscious, I dress utterly under the influence of my 8 year old self. I’m innocently sitting in Landscape class, feeling all grown up and womanly, and I look down and realise that once again she has struck and dressed me without my realising. Today is, with no shading of a doubt, inspired by my very long, doubious and fervent commitment to the film The Secret Garden. To say I was obsessive doesn’t quite cover it. I was a slight victorian enthusiast as a child (less enthused since I grew up and learnt the meaning of feminism) sparked but not souly ignited also by my love of The Railway Children, Jacqueline Wilson’s The Lottie Project and a little known but truely awe-inspiring children’s book called Lady Daisy. I even had a porcelain doll that looked just like Kate Maberly’s character Mary, who to this day hasn’t left my possession. Actually come to think of it, that MIGHT have been some of the cause of the fringe calamity…

Anyway, back to the clothes. So I love the juxtaposition in The Secret Garden between India and Victorian Britain  - it was such a rich contrast and the styles kind of lend themselves to each other – the finery and intricate detail, etc? Anyway for some reason I just couldn’t leave out this scarf from the mix this morning and now I know why – its that little injection of imperialness into my little Indian indulgence.

Oh gosh my post-colonial lecture revision really IS seeping into all of my life…

yes, I am wearing a Sari.

actually I’ve quite convinced myself after going round all day calling it a sari that its infact not a sari but another technically named type of Indian clothing… if anyone knows, please tell me, I’ve been trawling the internet trying to find out I’d love to know!

The ‘sari’ (I’ll have to settle for that as it’s working title) is from a charity shop. I’m terrified of the potentially possible mini film clip racing around in my head when I’m wearing it in town  - in which a little old indian woman from Aber advances on me demanding why I am wearing her sari without any bottoms and a proceeding rant about the crude culture and  indecency of the white girl….

The belt, I think I have featured before – it is one of my dad’s (and I’ve no learnt my grandad’s before him) scouting belt – good to know my waist is still the size of a small boys lower hips. fab. The victorian-y scarf is from H&M a world ago. the shiney glittery bracelet is from my friend Bev :) and the sandals are yesterday’s new Clarke’s ones.

Anyway, I’m going to leave you to get on with your evenings now, but for anyone who’s still hanging on and has got to this part, I’m going to post some other stills I found of The Secret Garden, purely for my own indulgence and for anyone else out there that is in love with this movie just as much as me…

Maggie Smith, you absolute legend.

thankyou hattie for again taking such nice pictures

The Day of the Term-time Holiday

One of the vital components of establishment as a successful university fresher (you know, that point when you know you can go home at Christmas,  look your mums blue rinsed watery eyed friends in the face and truely say, ‘yes, I’m doing smashingly thank you’), I have learnt, is finding good friends to live with in the second year. There’s no time to loose – chains must be locked and sealed with a pint and a reasonably oversized deposit well before January. Luckily, I have managed to scrape myself in seven lovely fresh things for housemates – we all have very varying backgrounds but I think its is fair to say that with madness levels, it is a level playing field :)

So yesterday I went with four of the girls to New Quay! This is New Quay, Wales, very diffrent but mixable with NewquEy (one word), Cornwall – but equally as idillic. Lots of sun, arcades, ice cream,  sandcastle building and laughter later, I found myself at home sporting this great piece of fabric and alot more sand than I left with. The perfect one day holiday mid-term :)

Of course, no trip with Kathy is complete without a mini disaster… Sarah dropping beer on my head was only followed by a 10 minute interval before a wanted Seagull (the welsh bobbys are out looking for him now) dropped a big one down the side of my head and onto my arm as I was on the phone. Tidy.

The local ‘£1.20 shop’ – oh yes – and some classic beach public toilets later, I was gleaming again – well ok, I had my usually shiney-ish rustic tint back.

Anyway, enough of the fineries, on to the loot. How freaekking woodstock is this skirt??!

Its kind of peachy pink tye-dye with beautiful lace trimming, which puts it for me on a magically rare scale between gypsy and renaissance – perfection. I love how many different ways you can wear wrap arounds as well, I’m sure you’ll see her reading in for lots of different roles in future posts!

Posey Mosey. You can just see my birds peaking out too!

Oh sorry how rude of me!!!

Please, let me introduce you both. Sandals, this is the world, World? these are my new sandals…

I decided for one I would stop torturing my feet and actually get a decent upstanding pair of shoes. Clarks no less. I’m so in love with them, and I dare say they are warming to me despite the occasional nip. Rubbing with leather shoes is part of the process though I’m told, im sure we’ll get used to eachother:)

Bye for now!

The Shoes, The Shoes – Community Clothing Two

Gorgeous shoes, No?

I went on a revisit to Rah – the outward motivation of the trip was to introduce her properly to my boyfriend, but obviously my real intentions were more to do with her footwear collection.

I just love how devil-may-care high they are! I’d probably need a risk assessment to walk in them, but because of their beauty, that is by the by. As you can see they are ALITTLE big for me, but lets not portray Rah as a bigfoot – i have ridiculous short wide feet. It is actually a mercy she let me try them on, usually these babies are banned from her footwear in the fear of a stretchy situation. So thankyou Rah for taking the chance with me! ;)

The thing thats really unusual and eye-catching about them is the strong pink sole – I love how its outlined in black, makes it look almost comic book like.

Anyway, despite not wearing them out of the house, I designed an outfit around them anyway (i think – or was it the other way around). Perhaps they designed the outfit around me.

The tights were a present, so was the necklace (from afore mentioned boyfriend :) ), the skirt is charity shop, the top and scarf worn as a belt – H&M, and the cardigan primark.

Oh. The Shoes?

Heaven.

I mean … Office.

Oh, and I’m wacking this last one in for Rah’s benefit;

For some reason she thinks its hilarious. Bloody country folk….

Having a Flemishly Good Time – Dress Crown Friday

Were going a bit Belgian this friday with a gob-gobbler from Oliver Theyskens;

Now, our May Ball is coming up, and I know in my heart the primary function of my attendance is to see Feeder and Sclub perform (surely it is everyones?!!), I really would like to look nice for it. NOW, if I had this dress (perhaps in peach instead? or Coral – No offence to Oliver, its just I could see it so well in a creamy romantic floaty renaissance shade? does anyone identify with this?!) , I’m pretty sure I would be contented.

As it is, I’ve had to settle for two numbers from New Look – of which I can’t pick between. Buying from New Look in Aberystwyth is a risk, I know, as the limited shop supply means I COULD have that great disaster every girl dreads – A girl wearing the same dress. But I’ve been questioning myself lately on how much I care. We spend so much of our lives trying to prove through our clothes that we are so diffrent and unique… but maybe through clothes we can also recognise our similarities? Common, some dresses are just PRETTY. And isn’t it cool when someone else thinks so too? Why is it a bonding excercise for two women to shop together and admire the same items and fall in love with the same beautiful clothes – yet such a crime for them to both own the same beautiful objects? I meen, providing you look good in the dress, who cares who else is wearing it? maybe? I presonally would probably be innitually alittle thrown off and gutted, but at the same time find it quite funny and grab them and get lots of pictures with them too.

I am me, but I confess that parts of me correlate with other girls i know – thats how friendships are born! I don’t know, maybe this is all a BIG rant to justify me wearing one of my dresses……. they are so devastatingly pretty!!! Maybe I will post pictures of them when I find the time.

In the meen time, Adieu from Belgium!

Community Clothes

So, I like to live in community with my friends, especially when it comes to clothes. Sharing is my fave, and when I went to intrude on my dopplegander Rah in her country home, we proceeded with our usual ritual of showcasing all our garment finds since the last time we saw each other.  Seriously, we get so in to it sometimes it is surprising we don’t use powerpoint. The show and tell is usually proceeded the next morning by an avid sampling of each other’s clothes, and further discussion – how they feel, how they smell, how well they fit, who they would suit … lalala.

So this is my creation. One of our little wardrobe love children, if you will. The Skirt made all of the rest of it happen to be fair, its AWESOME. It’s Rah’s and its from Select (I returned home this easter not only to find my family had replaced our old fridge with not a thought to tell me, but also to find that they have closed Coventry’s Select, so I couldn’t copyher – boohoooo.com!). The socks are my first ASOS find that I haven’t sent back, I enjoy them thoroughly, purple tights were a preasent, the top is H&M, the cardi is River Island odour la Charity Shop and the flower is also Rah’s.

Rah also put together a cute ill bucket of juicy clothes – my green H&M tutu, which I have had since I was about 13 and have never found an eventuality where it is not appropriate, and her very girlie/nautical stripey top from i-dont-know-where-but-I-will-ask. I like it, its kinda prep meets cheerleader meets fairy…

Oh and what would be a Rah/Kathy get together without some accessory exploitation?!
